SPACE PHYSICS / TECHNOLOGY
Planning and construction of measurement equipment for investigations in the ionospheric plasma are the main focus in the area of space physics and technology. We develop devices for Insitu measurements of various ionospheric parameters such as electron density, ion density, electric field, magnetic field, etc..
For the implementation of instruments operated on satellites and sounding rockets, payload-integration as well as technical support at launch site is part of project support.
TECHNICAL PHYSICS
For nuclear fusion diagnostics, measurement systems to determine neutral gas density and radiation intensities in the plasma of research reactors are developed and manufactured.
The development is performed in close cooperation with the Max-Planck-Institute for Plasma Physics (Asdex-Upgrade). The manufacturing is covered by an exclusive licence given by MPI to AWT.
ELECTRONICS
We have a broad knowledge and many years of experience in the field of sensor technology and signal acquisition of physical measurements. This results in numerous applications, also in the request of medical-technical use.
